Canada Provincial Nominee Program – PNP

Provincial Nominee Program is Canada’s second largest economic immigration program. The applicants should be nominated by the nation’s province or territory under this scheme. They should have the education, work experience and skills to contribute to the economic development of a province or territory of the country. One Immigration Canada stream of most PNP’s is aligned with the Federal Express Entry Immigration Selection System.

ELIGIBILITY

All Canadian provinces except Quebec and two territories have their own unique Provincial Nominee Programs.  For being eligible for the scheme an individual has to clear the following stages:

Job Offer-A valid job offer from a Canadian Company located in the province which the candidates intend to migrate is required. If candidates have a close relative living in that province they can obtain a nomination certificate.

Provincial Government Approval-The relevant provincial government should approve the job offer. Evaluation of the applicant is done keeping the migration requirement of the particular province in perspective.

Application for Permanent Residency – Candidates should make their application for Permanent Residency with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) once they receive a nomination from the particular province.

Applicants are required to show that they have the finances to support themselves and their dependents after they arrive in Canada.
