AUSTRALIA SKILLED OCCUPATION LIST



For Australia Skilled Visa programs only certain skilled occupations are eligible. The visa program you are applying for determines the availability of the occupations. For obtaining a skilled migration visa you need to first select a profession from the Skilled Occupation List put together by The Australia Government – Department of Immigration.

The occupation lists for Australia Visa Immigration applicants for the skilled migration program are reviewed every six months to ensure that they cater to genuine skilled requirements and regional variations across Australia.

Skilled Migration Program consists of Australia Work Permit and Permanent Residency Visas.

You are required to nominate an occupation that is included in the Medium and Long Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) below in the particularistic legislative instrument for Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189) – Points Tested Stream and Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 489) – Family Nominated
